Introducing Castle Wellness – A Space for Healing and Resilience

- Connect - Regulate - Thrive -

For years, Circles of Rhythm has been a space where drumming unites us, fostering connection and healing. My journey—from a Saskatchewan farm to facilitating vibrant drum circles—has always been guided by rhythm’s transformative power. Now, I’m excited to share a new extension of that mission: CastleWellness.ca, a platform dedicated to mental wellness and personal growth.

Castle Wellness builds on the heartbeat of our circles, offering a broader approach to resilience and self-discovery. It’s designed for individuals navigating life’s challenges—whether leaders facing burnout or those seeking clarity amid uncertainty.

Drawing on my Master of Social Work expertise, Indigenous wisdom, and evidence-based practices, I’ve created a space that honors the natural cycles of healing. This isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about sustainable change through compassion and understanding.

Personalized Therapy Modalities
Tailored to meet you where you are, drawing on a range of evidence-based modalities:
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Grounded in your values, it’s about embracing life’s cycles—and living with purpose despite challenges.
  • Somatic Awareness and Breathwork: By tuning into your body’s rhythms, we address stress and trauma held physically, using breath to restore balance and presence.
  • Mindfulness-Based Techniques: Rooted in secular mindfulness, these tools quiet the mind, incorporating gongs, crystal bowls, exploring the Mindfulness Sound Lab.
  • Parts Theory (Internal Family Systems): Inspired by Jungian shadow work, this modality explores your inner “parts”—ego’s highs and lows—empowering you to become your own human scientist.
  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART): A trauma-focused method that rapidly reduces distress from past wounds, using guided imagery and somatic calm to restore balance and resilience.
These methods are woven with lived experience and Indigenous perspectives, offering a holistic path to resilience, available globally as non-regulated support.
Special Events

Castle Wellness also hosts unique group experiences designed to strengthen community and self-awareness:
  • Men’s Groups: Safe spaces for men to explore vulnerability, resilience, and connection through dialogue, rhythm, and shared reflection.
  • Slavic Banya: A traditional steam bath experience paired with mindfulness and sound, promoting physical detox and mental renewal—an homage to cultural healing practices.
  • Mindfulness BootCamp: An intensive workshop blending drumming, breathwork, and mindfulness exercises to reset your nervous system and build mental stamina.
  • Self-Leadership Circles: Group sessions that integrate ACT and parts theory, guiding participants to lead themselves through life’s transitions with clarity and strength.
